I'm not a vegetarian... I'm a dessertarian.

My tasting tour of Adelaide has taken me to many-a muncheries, but few could believe that I was yet to make it to one of the most popular dessert places in town.  Last week, with the help of my enthusiastic blogger friend who dines out almost as much as me, I finally made it to the dessert holy grail.... Eggless.

Rocking up at 7.50 on a Thursday night, 10 minutes before the actual opening time I expected the place to be somewhat close to a ghost town. I was wronger than Kim Kardashians vows to Kris Humphries as there was already a line!

Once the ceremonious blind was lifted and the door was dramatically unbolted my fellow sweet-tooths and I filed on in. This little dessert paradise was established in 2009 and they
change their whole menu every month! (like I need another reason to keep on coming back!)

On my virgin voyage I decided to go with the Chocolate Brownie & Peach Melba Sundae. Bow-chicka-wow-wow! This was ahhhh-mazing. I am usually the kinda girl who enjoys a chocolate dessert just with chocolate. I don’t need no fruit to lighten things up, that’s just the way I play it holmes. But this vanilla poached summer peach drizzled with raspberry couli and toasted almonds took this dessert from a 9 to a 327 on the ohh-my-god-this-is-good scale. I believe I heard the woman sitting next to me say ‘I’ll have what she’s having.’ So you can imagine how much I was enjoying it!

I was also lucky enough to get a little taste of my dessert partners Apricot Cobbler with Warm Butterscotch Sauce. He described the dish, and I quote -  “The cobbler was perfect.... flavoursome, not too heavy, the apricot proving a delightful combination with the butterscotch sauce. “ Ahh the positives of dining with a  fellow blogger, they do my job for me!

On this first-time visit I certainly learnt something. The only thing missing at Eggless, are the eggs! A perfect place to indulge in a happy ending… I mean sweet ending!

Oh and a huge shout out to my blogging bud Sam who took these picks. Feel free to mozy on over to his blog The Smiling Foodie.

Until next time… Stay Rad-elaide.

  1. However not only that, this ingredient can be excellent for moisturizing the pores and skin. You may even see this listed in many pimples lotions,
and many people will claim that this is the the most effective
zits products elements for clearer skin. This ingredient kills the
bacteria that could be residing in your clogged pores or on the surface of your skin.
You solely want a few 10% concentration, as any greater than that
may dry out your skin. They may very well be contributing to the pimples.
