Pizza is a lot like sex. When it's good, it's really good. When it's bad, it's still pretty good.

New kid on the block Etica has swung open its iron fence and is officially knocking peoples socks off with… well basically everything about this place is sock knockable!

The service couldn’t have been more right on the money if they tried. Friendly, but not over the top plus super knowledgeable, helpful and attentive which made this place a pleasure to dine. For all of the mathematicians out there I drew up a simple equation to make things clearer: Friendly + knowledgeable + helpful + attentive / not-over-the-top = juuuuuuuuust right! We found it a tad tricky to choose from their array of appetisers and found a simple ‘cheese please’ was a sufficient order. A few moments later and poof, our waitress genie brought over a tasting plate quicker than Aladdin’s three wishes.

Next up - pizza. I am fairly certain that a little ‘mmm… mmm… mmm…’ was the noise I was making to accompany every bite of this exquisite pizza and I can neither confirm nor deny that I started doing a little happy dance in my seat. You know, like when a good tune comes on the car radio and you can’t help but do a little restricted-by-the-seat-belt dance which you always stop doing at the lights for fear of the person next to you glancing over? Well yeah, that dance. I’m not proud of this behaviour but when your taste buds are throwing a party, what is one to do but join in? May I also point out that I have no recollection of this as it is my strong belief that I blacked out after the first bite. My next memory was coming to with a licked-clean plate before me. Now THAT was a food-gasm if I ever experienced one.

What more can I say about this restaurant other than who wants a dinner date? I’ve decided I must have a high rotation of available dining partners as I plan to be popping back to this pizza-paradise as much as humanly possible. That is, before my body slips into a dairy induced coma. Etica, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

And by the by, I have written another review for Fringe Benefits! Please feel free to have a little squiz here.

Until next time... Stay Rad-elaide
